In fact, by the time this magazine reaches you, The Phillips Team will have participated in the largest national home show in Canada, The 2016 National Home Show (March 11 – 20, 2016). This show is not only sponsored by ReMax, it brings approximately 175,000 attendees, many of whom are our target demographic, and are there to discuss real estate (i.e. building lot, cottage or retirement property)! The Phillips Team is there 10 hours a day for 10 consecutive days, promoting the Parry Sound district and showcasing my listings – matching qualified Buyers with Sellers. Following the National Home Show, I will be at the Spring Cottage Life Show (April 1 -3, 2016). Needless to say, I really do have Buyers!
Market news: There is very positive news. Sales are at near-record levels for the housing market in the Parry Sound region and I expect this trend to continue into 2016. The average price for recreational properties edged up by 2.6%. The total number of sales for the district shot up by 24% year over year, and the total dollar volume of properties purchased also increased by 24% over last year. This represented a total of over $179 million dollars in real estate sales in the Parry Sound district. The Phillips Team is excited to work with Buyers and Sellers this 2016 season. Let’s talk!
